Human/feline physiology of a bipedal mutant cat
The mutant cats can have various powers and features, regarding their mutation:
- The mutant cat witnessed by Beast (Hank McCoy) had enhanced physical abilities, bipedal walk, and a physiology similar to Beast's, combining human and feline characteristics.[1]
- Splatter Gomorrah's mutant cat had three heads and smoked.[2]
- Rufus and other cats are artificial mutants created by Dr. Hayes. They have an artificial X-gene of her own creation that grant them telepathy

"Artificial" mutant cats, such as the likes of the Kitten to which Doctor Nemesis grafted a sample of his X-Gene in an illusion/simulation,[3] or Rufus, a cat had his DNA experimented on by Dr. Hayes to grant him telepathy,[4] will not be considered as mutant cats in the understanding of this page.
