History
The Mutant Power Enhancer was designed and built by the Beast to increase Unus' powers, so that he could no longer control them.[1]
When the X-Men confronted Unus again, Beast used the device he previously used to deactivate Unus' powers; however, Unus had since become immune to the ray's effects, thanks to the secret machinations of Lucifer.[2]See Also
