History

The Mutant Resistance were a group of mutants who survived the American mutant purges and encampments put in place after the Ultimatum event and formed together to fight against the Sentinel invasions that occurred during the Divided We Fall storyline. They would eventually be victorious and given land in Utah by the acting President Captain America to forge the bedrock of mutant independence by founding the sanctuary of Utopia.
