History
During the time of Camelot, the Myth Monster spread cruel lies about disabled children in an attempt to make the kingdom shun them. King Arthur defended the children, and weakened by his lies being exposed, the Monster was captured by Merlin and imprisoned within an enchanted amulet.
Years later, the amulet was stolen by a thief, who soon after lost it, accidentally dropping it into the Atlantic Ocean, where it remained for centuries before finally washing ashore in Connecticut. When it was found and opened, the Monster reemerged and sought to once again spread prejudice against children with health issues. He transformed into the form of a local school coach and spread harmful lies about the school's students with epilepsy, diabetes and asthma.
After being exposed as a monster, he battled Spider-Man while various students sought to find the enchanted amulet to imprison him again. When the amulet was found, he seized it and hurled it back into the ocean – however the students and Spider-Man confronted him, rejecting his lies and refusing to ostracise people with health issues. Unable to exist when people rejected his lies and fear, he vanished in a fiery explosion.[1]Attributes
