History
N'Kantu was once an African chieftan when his people were enslaved by the Egyptians. N'Kantu led a rebellion against the Egyptians but was sealed away in a tomb by the wizard Nephrus using an alchemical formula. This formula granted N’Kantu immortality, but at the price of his mobility. Nephrus sealed him inside of a sarcophagus, promising that he would suffer as a Living Mummy for all eternity. Thousands of years later, N'Kantu was uncovered in the modern age and joined Agent Coulson's Howling Commandos.[1]
Kang's Invasion[]
N'Kantu was later somehow sealed away in a pyramid in the Ancient Egypt sector of Chronopolis. When the Avengers and Horus uncovered him, N'Kantu became insane with anger and attacked them but was eventually defeated by them.[1]
Monster Parade[]
Upon realizing that they are rejected for being monsters by the people of Chronopolis, N'Kantu, Morbius and Man-Thing decide to be part of a Hydra Empire parade to make a float of them to show everyone that they are monsters and are proud of it.[1]Paraphernalia
Equipment
- Orb of Ra: allows N'Kantu to manipulate and unleash beams of energy.
- N'Kantu can also fire pieces of himself as projectiles and use his bandages as grappling lines.
