History

Natasha Romanoff lived a life more or less identical to that of her Earth-199999 counterpart, until Ultron managed to upload his consciousness into the synthetic body he had created unleashing chaos on Earth. While the Avengers were fighting against Ultron, she and Hawkeye went in a Quinjet to collapse the network of satellites to stop Ultron from launching nuclear bombs. However, they were too late and Ultron unleashed the bombs all over the planet and killed most of the living beings.

Some time later, Natasha and Clint traveled to Moscow to infiltrate the KGB archives and try to find information about an AI that could take on Ultron. After searching countless files for hours, Romanoff found the file on Arnim Zola, determining that Zola could be used to take on Ultron. Romanoff and Barton headed to a HYDRA facility in Siberia, which had a copy of Zola's mind separate from the one found at Camp Lehigh.

After activating Zola, Natasha and Clint brought Zola up to speed on the situation and forced him to help them stop Ultron from the inside. Romanoff lured the Sentinels to the base, allowing Barton to transfer Zola to one of the Sentinels and allow him to invade the hive mind. Although Zola's mind was downloaded into a Sentinel, he could not complete his task since Ultron was not in their universe. Clint, having lost his will to live after the death of his family, sacrificed himself to destroy the robot horde, allowing Natasha and Zola enough time to escape.

Guardians of the Multiverse vs. Ultron

Natasha continued to escape from Ultron Drones for a while until she ran into the Guardians believing they were Ultron's lackeys. Captain Carter recognized Natasha and mentioned the friendship she had with the Natasha of her universe and that they were there to stop Ultron. Soon after, Ultron found the Guardians and tried to destroy them. After a long fight, Romanoff used the arrow that had Zola's mind and shot Ultron in his eye with help from Carter. Zola's mind and destroyed it from within. After defeating Ultron, Killmonger took his armor along with his Stones for himself, but Zola, who had assumed Ultron's body, attempts to take them for himself, engaging the two in a stalemate fight. In the end Strange Supreme locked them inside a pocket dimension. Uatu returned the Guardians to their respective universes but since Natasha's universe was devastated by Ultron, Uatu sent her to a universe in which they lost their Widow. At that moment the Avengers were fighting against Loki. There, Romanoff stole the scepter and used it to subdue the God of Mischief.
