Black Widow from an unspecified reality was recruited into the Omega Flight on Primary Earth. She became part of Squad 62, which was send by Nick Fury on a mission into the Hydra Empire territory. While there, the Squad was approached by Quentin Beck, who showed them a doctored video in which Nick Fury was willing to destroy any regions that could destabilize the Primary Earth's Convergence, Hydra Empire among them. Shocked at their leader's willingness to sacrifice untold number of lies, the Squad turned on each other, unsure of who could be trusted. Black Widow separated from the others and went undercover among the Hydra while also establishing contact with the Liberty Legion.[1]
She later welcomed another Omega Flight operative who was send to check up on Squad 62 into the Hydra Empire territory and directed them towards the Liberty Legion headquarters but did not tell them about the internal strife within Squad 62. Black Widow also came to rescue a group of civilians fleeing from Hydra.[1]Paraphernalia
