Cable shared a similar history to his Earth-616 counterpart up until Archangel became the Horseman of Death and managed to "rebel" against his master. After several mutants showed up dead, X-Factor attempted to capture all known rogue mutants for their protection/determine if they were the killer. Cable met alongside the Marauders.[1]
