History

Cable, along with his partner Domino were contacted by Charles Xavier in hope that they would take on a mission to hack into Cyberspace in order to rescue Erik Lensherr from being used and corrupted by the government's new Hunter robot Nimrod.

Cable wasn't not onboard with this as they were mercenaries and thieves and not freedom fighters. But Domino agreed to do it after Charles informed Nathan and her that he was dying from his powers evolving into the real world which was causing his nervous system to break down.
