History
The son of Scott Summers and Madelyne Pryor, the young Cable was trapped in Limbo along with his mother during the five years in which the protective shield separated Manhattan from the rest of the domain. When Domino was captured by Maddie, Cable let her out in exchange for help in fixing his gun. However, this was a trick to get Domino close enough to "rescue" Colossus, before it was revealed that Maddie and Colossus had formed an alliance.[1]
Cable stood with his mother while she and Colossus attempted to take down Darkchild. After the Darkchild's death, Cable watched as Madelyne came upon Darkchild's body, with the Hellfire that had granted her her power escaping from her corpse and being claimed by Madelyne.[2]
