History
Cable shared a similar history to his Prime Marvel Universe counterpart until after Magneto ripped the Adamantium skeleton from Wolverine's body. Wolverine turned feral and the X-Men abandoned him. After several years in the wilderness, their guilt drove the X-Men to recruit Cable into delivering a holographic message they recorded in an attempt to capture and restore Wolverine. After attempting to capture and deliver Wolverine the message, Wolverine knocked Cable into his own trap. Wolverine began to view the messages but escaped before Cable freed himself and the message concluded.[1]
