Mr. Sinister was an ally of Apocalypse during his attempt to conquer the world with the power of The Four. He was partly responsible for the experiments which turned Beast into Dark Beast and Angel into Archangel. After Apocalypse's defeat, Sinister seemed posed to carry out his own agenda.
