A mad scientist seeking to create the perfect mutant, Mr. Sinister eventually steals the DNA of both Scott Summers and Jean Grey, believing the unique contents of their DNA would yield the most powerful mutant ever.
It was later revealed that he was only a pawn of Apocalypse.
