History
As a child he and another kid were kidnapped from a secret facility by Gambit and Storm. Gambit was hired to do it by Sinister who took the boy away and accelerated his growth.[3] Dubbed him X-Man, Sinister planned to use him as a weapon against his foes.[2]
Years later Sinister allied with Charles Xavier. He sent X-Man to kidnap Scotty Summers and Raven LeBeau. However, unbeknownst to Sinister, Xavier had planned to use Raven, Scotty, and X-Man as his psionic batteries to increase his power and take control over minds of everyone on the planet. Sinister refused to follow Xavier's plan and was killed by him to X-Man's shock.[4]Attributes

Notes
- While X-Man is an alternate variant of Nate Grey[1], his parentage was never stated and he apparently was not created by Sinister, because Sinister hired Gambit to kidnap X-Man and Raven from some facility.
- Being a genetic son of Jean Grey and Alex Summers created by Sinister in an unconfirmed fan-theory. There are no confirmation for it in any issues or editions of Mutant X or handbook entries about Earth-1298.
