History

Negafok is the god of cold weather of the Inua, the Gods of the North.

In modern time, during the Skrull invasion of Earth, when the God Squad traversed the Dreamtime in search of a route to the Skrull gods, they erroneously entered the Dream Dimension and came into conflict with the Fear Lord Nightmare. To oppose the God Squad, Nightmare conjured an army of their worst fears, which included Negafok (presumably a fear of God Squad member Snowbird).

• According to Thor & Hercules: Encyclopaedia Mythologica #1 writer Anthony Flamini, Negafok first appeared in Incredible Hercules #118 as one of the many adversaries conjured by the Fear Lord Nightmare, and was not named and identified as an Inuit god until Thor & Hercules: Encyclopaedia Mythologica #1.
