Synopsis for 1st story
Wolverine is sent into the dimension where Agamotto dwells. There, he fights the immortal Vishanti, who constantly changes into familiar forms he would recognize. As the fighting rages on, back on Earth, Victoria Hand looks outside to see a crowd of people gathering at Avengers Mansion. She then looks to the sky and sees it opening once again.
Back in the Light Dimension, the duel is interrupted by Daniel Drumm. Agamotto becomes enraged that the sacred terms of the duel were violated and nearly rips Daniel and Wolverine apart, had not Doctor Voodoo decided to intervene personally, bringing with him the Eye of Agamotto. He apparently sacrifices himself to destroy Agamotto and his eye.
Enraged at the loss of his brother, Daniel's spirit possesses Luke Cage and pounces at Doctor Strange, only for the Thing to restrain him. Daimon Hellstrom walks outside and tells everyone that the New Avengers saved the world and they better appreciate it.
