History
New Korbin is a world settled by the Korbinites whose homeworld Korbin was destroyed by Surtur and his Fire Demons. It was founded by Beta Ray Bill who settled his people there using Skuttlebutt.
The Asgardians; Balder and Sif came to the world and startled the people, who believed they were being invaded. Bill arrived and tried to calm the crowd, but it only made things worse. Dar Mal Goth told the the Imperial Leader, and the Council Imperial judges that Bill be stripped of his hammer and a new champion be chosen. Bill agreed and changed to his normal self and Stormbreaker reverted to a cane. Dar grabbed the cane quickly and slammed it on the ground, but to no avail. Eventually, hundreds of Korbinites line up to try and claim Bill’s power, and they all fail. Saying farewell, Balder and Sif leave to continue their search.[2]
However the planet was later consumed by Galactus. [3]
