Synopsis for "A-Hunting We Will Go"
On Castle Blackstone, Sebastian Shaw receives intel from twins Maxime and Manon about events in Pilger. He dismisses their offer to join him and steps through a Krakoan gate.
In the Amazon rainforest, a turquoise-skinned young mutant flees from a red beast but is rescued at the last moment. An X-jet lands in Nova Roma, where Magma, Boom Boom, and Armor disembark. Amara’s father, Senator Aquila, explains the city’s concern over recent incursions and shows them the mutant boy they rescued. He explains that monsters are hunting mutants near the Krakoan gate. The boy confirms this, describing how he and others were hunted, with only him surviving.
Magma, Boom Boom, and Armor travel to the gate, and Tabitha continuously complains about the hike. Suddenly, monsters attack. It takes a bit for the mutants to figure out their opponents, but in the end they kill the monsters.
Meanwhile, Sebastian Shaw meets Ezequiel, leader of the Bohem Cartel, to discuss distributing Krakoan medicines. Shaw makes it clear he controls the market and refuses to cooperate with Ezequiel due to previous aggression. He reveals a deal with the rival Carrasco Cartel, ensuring Ezequiel's downfall. Shaw asserts mutants are not to be trifled with.
The mutant women return to Krakoa with the rescued mutant. Boom Boom thanks Amara for the mission. At the same time, a pale, blonde woman finds the slain creatures and vows revenge against its killers.
