History
New Olympus was a floating city and the base of operations of the Olympians following their rebirth after being slaughtered by Nyx.[1] It was built by Hephaestus and it was characterized by a dimensional rotor that allowed the entire city to shift in and out of reality.[2] Using this rotor, the Olympians rotated into reality to suddenly attack planets, ravaging them and taking tribute in blood and treasure.
When the Guardians of the Galaxy set out to stop the Olympians, they infiltrated New Olympus with a black hole bomb to destroy it.[3] Star-Lord managed to tie the rotor to the Guardians' black hole bomb, taking New Olympus outside reality and then blowing it up although at the apparent cost of his life.[2]See Also
