History

Due to Enchantress' machinations, the New York City Council met in special session to declare that the Avengers were a public menace and draft a court order to have them disbanded.

After receiving the evidence tape showing that the Avengers had been framed, the New York City Council fully reinstated the Avengers by restoring their special priority cards and declaring the following Sunday to be Avengers Day, which it would bring tourists to the city.
