History

The NYPD seemingly had a similar history as its Earth-616 counterpart. After Spider-Man defeated the Masters of Menace, NYPD officers took the criminals into custody. When he started arguing with Peter Parker, the officers ordered him to back-off, causing him to angrily leave. Later, Spider-Man turned himself into the police after he murdered Parker.
