History

Little is detailed about Nextwave’s life before the zombie plague arrived on Earth-2149, however it can be presumed that it followed much the same path as Nextwave (Earth-616).

Nextwave cause a massive explosion to try to kill some of the zombie horde, in a purely superfluous cameo. This effectiveness of this is in doubt, however, as they are ruthlessly dispatched off-panel.
