Take it easy. You wouldn't want to threaten the man who was about to offer you a job.
- —Nick Fury[src]
History
Nicholas Fury's early history is unknown, though it is presumably similar to the Nick Fury of Earth-1610.
Nick Fury's fate following the defeat of Galactus depends on which hero defeated him, as follows:
- If Captain America defeated Galactus: Nick Fury may have congratulated Captain America on his defeat of Galactus, calling him "not only America's hero, but the hero of the whole world".[1] However, this congratulatory speech may have been given by the President of the United States of America instead.[2]
- If Crimson Viper defeated Galactus: Nick Fury broke into Crimson Viper's apartment. When she confronted him, he commented that he figured it was the easiest way to get in contact with her and offered her a job at S.H.I.E.L.D.[2]
Notes
- As noted above, Nick Fury only appears in Captain America's ending in Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3. In the original Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds, an unidentified President of the United States (possibly meant to be Barack Obama) appears instead.
- When Fury first premiered in The Punisher, he resembled his Earth-616 counterpart. When he appeared in Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds, he appearance was changed to that of his Earth-1610 counterpart's.
