After the failed war against Wakanda and the fall of M'Butu, Niganda fell in a state of civil war, with multiple armed factions fighting each others, targeting governmental institutions and persecuting civilians,[1] even using some of the artificial artificial Mutants released from M'Butu and Paine's labs.[2] Others were seen fighting those artificial mutants, helped by Storm and Black Panther.[3]
Among those organizations were present the Niganda People's Liberation Army, the Niganda Democratic Party and a third faction fighting those two groups.[2]
