Nigel Orpington-Smythe was the head of the British Agency the R.C.X (Resource Control Executive), which upon attack by the Sentinels became rebranded as the Resistance Co-ordination Executive. Under the codename Arthur, and using a suit reminiscent of Iron Man and War Machine's armour, he lead the agents that aided Excalibur in their teammate, Rachel Summers' efforts to reprogram the Sentinel Hierarchy to protect all life, which succeeded. His history after Excalibur's departure is unknown.[1]
