History
Nikolai Rasputin was the son of Piotr Rasputin and grew up with in Russia. After his father was murdered by his old friend Wolverine, Nikolai swore to avenge him and was trained by his aunt Illyana in Limbo to do so. When he became an adult, he came in contact with Logan's nemesis, Sabretooth, who gathered him and the Omega Clan to join forces against Logan and finally kill him. He finally dueled and defeated the murderer of his father, after he killed everyone of Nikolai's allies, and believed to have killed him after trapping him in Limbo, but Wolverine ultimately survived.[1]

Nikolai is a mutant.
Organic Steel Transformation: Nikolai has the superhuman ability to convert the tissue of his entire body into an organic steel-like substance. He is able to transform into this armor-like state at will (the process is virtually instantaneous) and remain in that form for an as yet undetermined amount of time. Once in his armored form he remains so until he consciously wills himself back to normal.[2]
Portal Creation: Nikolai is also capable of creating portals to Limbo using his Soulsword.[3]Paraphernalia
