History

A metamutant, Jericho was considered to be "Terra-X's replacement" in a sense, although he was devoted to the cause of defending New York City, and fought bravely in the battle against Brother Brood while in Zenosha. Jericho was actually Niles Dayspring, a past incarnation of Niles Cable, but how he came to this time-period is a mystery.
