After the death of Bolivar Trask at the hands of Wolverine, his consciousness was preserved and uploaded into a Sentinel by Orchis. Trask originally held on to his humanity, as his girlfriend Lady Deathstrike remained loyal to him.[1] However, she was then killed by Wolverine as well while on Polemachus, severing Trask's last connection to humanity.[2]
Trask came to conclusion that since mutants were superior to the humans, only the machines could stop them. He then killed everyone else at Orchis by shutting off their station's life support.[3] He then upgraded himself into an ultimate form that possessed most know mutant superpowers and abandoned his human name, embracing his identity as Nimrod. He attacked Asteroid X and easily defeated both the Shi'ar Imperial Guard and X-Men before making his way to Krakoa. Beast suggested using one of Mister Sinister's Chimeras to stop him. The Inner Circle had no choice as nothing else is working against Nimrod. The Chimera arrived and teleported Trask into the Sun, seemingly killing them both.[4]
However, even that was not enough to destroy Nimrod, who returned seeking revenge on Wolverine above all. While fighting others, he injured Jubilee who took on Jean's Phoenix Force and blasted him away before Nimrod could kill everyone on Krakoa.[4]Attributes
