History

In the wake of the Serpent's defeat, the Hulk was freed of Nul's possession and decided to destroy his hammer. By doing this, he inadvertently set Nul's spirit free and it materialized somewhere in Europe.

At the Concordance Engine

Sensing the presence of a Concordance Engine in Wundagore Mountain, Nul made his way there while destroying everything he found on his path. Nul knew the power inside of the machine and wanted to destroy it to get home. The Defenders assembled to try to stop the beast, but they could do nothing to stop him. After Nul hit the Concordance Engine for the first time, the Prester that was guarding it rose from his chair and erased him from existence.
