History

Numbers was hired by the other-dimensional bounty hunter Gatecrasher to join her mercenary group the Technet, apparently as its accountant, some time after their first clash with the superhero team known as Excalibur.

Along with the rest of the team, Numbers based himself on Earth-616, and for a time resided with them at Excalibur's headquarters, Braddock Lighthouse.

During this period, Numbers became romantically involved with the other-dimensional Dragon who powered Excalibur's transdimensional train. The Dragon eventually gave birth to a litter of young. Numbers and Dragon eventually left with the rest of Technet when the Special Executive arrived with an offer.
