Synopsis for "Something Slimey This Way Comes!"
Obnoxio the Clown arrives outside Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters at the request of Charles Xavier in order to entertain at a surprise birthday party for Kitty Pryde. While inside the mansion, Cerebro alerts Professor X that a mutant is nearby, but before he can notify the X-Men, Cerebro explodes and knocks the professor unconscious. Cyclops rushes to the professor's aid; suspects an imminent attack and enables the security system. As Obnoxio rings the bell at the front door of the mansion, he falls through a trap door in the welcome mat into a cell the sub-basement. He uses the CO2 cartridge of his seltzer bottle to blow a hole in a wall of the cell allowing him to escape. But he encounters the X-Men who are unaware that Obnoxio was invited by Professor X and treat him as an intruder.
Meanwhile, Eye-Scream enters the mansion in his ice cream form without detection, intending to attack the X-Men. He makes his way to the Danger Room control room and uses its devices to capture Obnoxio and trap him in the Danger Room allowing him to attack the X-Men without interference. Obnoxio evades the Danger Room's weapons until the room is filled with water, but uses an inflated rubber chicken to survive until the X-Men break down the room's door. The team captures Obnoxio until Professor X mentally recalls the team to the Danger Room control booth, where he has captured Eye-Scream in a block of ice. The professor explains that he had hired Obnoxio for Kitty's birthday, but the clown refuses to stay to entertain at the party after the ordeal.

Synopsis for "Jury Duty!"
Obnoxio the Clown travels on the New York City subway returning home from Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters. He arrives at his apartment to find that he has been summoned for jury duty. He makes his way to the Criminal Courts Building, but as he waits in the jury waiting room he is advised that he cannot smoke in there so he leaves to smoke his cigar in the corridor. While there he observes a gang of thieves stealing items from the evidence storage room. When the gang realizes they are being watched, they flee the scene running through the building and finally running into Mayor Ed Koch speaking to the press. The police take the gang into custody and the mayor excuses Obnoxio from jury duty.
- This issue contains two single page stories each with Obnoxio responding to a letter from a reader. The first is titled "Obnoxio the Clown's Abuse Page" and the second is titled "Dear Flabby."
