History
Odin is the ruler of Asgard and father of Thor. When he was taking the Odinsleep, his other son, Loki, tried to kill him and become the new king, but was stopped by Thor and the S.H.I.E.L.D. Trainees.[2]
Whilst still in the Odinsleep, Dr. Doom took control of the Destroyer from Odin, though that issue was resolved by the Avengers.[3]
Later, after awakening, Odin appeared after the celebration of Thor's Day, scolding his son for missing the banquet in his own honor. The two argued over Thor's double life and the frailty of humans until they were interrupted by Heimdall, who told Thor of strange happenings on Earth. Thor left, Odin swearing that one day humans would disappoint him with their weakness.[4]Paraphernalia
