Okoye was the leader of the Dora Milaje. She had helped carry the casket of T'Challa during his funeral proceedings. She was skeptical of Erik Killmonger when he had entered Wakanda with the body of Ulysses Klaue and warned them of the incoming US invasion with Stark Industries Vibranium drones, yet she and the rest of the Dora fought alongside him.[1]
