History
Old Vic was a historian who abused his Timelens, a device that allowed people to view the past, and went mad after cycling through his own life over and over. As a member of the Guild of Historians, he recluded himself in the Guild's retreat, The Way Back, sitting alone in a corner of the safehouse.
When the descendant of Captain America, Jack Rogers, sought refuge in The Way Back, Old Vic overhead Jack's attempts to warn its patrons of a conspiracy involving the Super-Soldier Serum turning humans into sleeper agents of the Kree Empire. He told Jack that he believed him and encouraged him to seek Captain America's Shield. He also forced his Timelens into Jack, allowing him to witness the final battle between the Captain and the Red Skull and that in the ruins, Jack could find the solution for his problems. The Kree's Peacekeepers then stormed into The Way Back, and Old Vic activated a secret passageway and pushed Jack into it so he could escape. Old Vic confronted the Peacekeepers to buy Jack some time, and was vaporized by an energy ray.[1]Paraphernalia
