History

The Order of the Goblin was a cult formed by Norman Osborn out of former members of the Cabal of Scriers who remained loyal to him. He had his Order murder his doctor, Albert Bendix, who he had dressed in a Spider-Man costume, before having a manipulated Peter Parker in a Green Goblin suit throw the body from a bridge. This was all part of Norman's unsuccessful plan to turn Parker into his successor.

After Osborn was cleansed of his sins and became the hero Gold Goblin, the Order came to be led by his former lover Kolina Frederickson who was previously taken by his servants to Osborn's Adirondack estate. She welcomed in Lily Hollister, "Harry Osborn"'s ex-girlfriend and Norman's former minion, but ordered her to also bring in her son, Stanley Osborn, to continue the Goblin legacy. As Hollister was hospitalized due to a unforeseen altercation, the Order planned to abduct Stanley by themselves.
