Synopsis for "Death Stalks Demolition Derby"
Upon walking up in a Las Vegas hospital Johnny is confronted by an combative LVMPD Sergeant by the name of Decker who informs Johnny that if he were the one who did the arrest he wouldn't still be breathing. The sergeant's subordinates try to excuse away his attitude as the sergeant leaves and bumps into Dude Jensen as he enters Johnny's hospital room. Dude offers Johnny a spot in his demolition derby in exchange for making all of Johnny's charges disappear. Johnny accepts and sometime later Roxanne joins him in his hospital room where he shares the good news. Roxanne knowing her deal with the Attorney General concerns the arrest of Dude Jensen holds her tongue until she can speak with the General Attorney and inform him of the situation.
At the demolition derby some time later Roxanne speaks with the General Attorney who informs her that she needs evidence against Dude. Roxanne looking to ease her fears and get some reassurance seeks out Johnny before his show. Upon entering his dressing room though she witnesses Linda Littletrees in the arms of Johnny. Before allowing Johnny to explain she shouts at him and begins to storm off, as she's leaving Johnny attempts to explain that Linda is just a friend but Roxanne doesn't believe him, slaps him and continues on her way. This falls right into Linda's plan of attempting to steal Johnny for herself. Johnny however sends her off instead.
As the incident cools, things begin to heat up as the sun goes down and the flaming form of Ghost Rider takes shape over Johnny's. Ghost Rider materializes his Hell Cycle and heads for the start of the demolition derby. Meanwhile Roxanne overhears Dude Jensen hiring a gunman to kill an independent driver named Red Thompson who's costing him a lot of money. As the hitman is leaving Jensen's trailer he spots Roxanne and ties her up. Ghost Rider continues to participate in the derby until things start to look bleak when the car of Red Thompson his heading straight for him. Before the car can slam into the rider however a shot rings how and kills the driver. The shot causes Thompson's car to crash and almost hit the Ghost Rider. Spotting the shooter, the Rider chases after him and blasts him with hellfire for his cowardly assassination. Meanwhile in Jensen's office, Dude is about to kill Roxanne.Appearing in "Ghost Story"
