Synopsis for "Trust No One, Not Even Yourself"

Whatever the heroes see in the eye is nerve-wracking at its finest. However, even though the use of the eye distracts several of the heroes, the Orb is still captured and interrogated by Nick Fury. The low-level criminal reveals that he was hired by Dr Midas to break into the Watcher's home, but he himself did not commit the murder.

The space team finds the murdered body of a living planet, but Winter Soldier suddenly maroons his comrades there while he teleports back to Earth and decapitates Nick Fury, taking Uatu's eye with him.

NICK FURY IS DEAD.

Solicit Synopsis

• In the wake of last issue’s explosion of secrets, the heroes of the Marvel U are reeling, leaving Nick Fury to stand alone.
