History

Storm hailed from a reality where the war between mutant factions cracked the Earth itself, ushering in a great cataclysm. To preserve, Storm worked with Charles Xavier, the Savior, to create an incredible machine powered by mutant energies to hold the planet together. One of the first volunteers for the machine was Storm's lover, Cyclops. The energies required for the machine were too much for a single round of mutants, however, and so Storm and Savior began forcibly recruiting mutants from other realities to fill open spots in the machine.
