History

Oscorp is an industrial manufacturing company based in New York. It was created and ran by its CEO, Dr. Norman Osborn.

Oscorp attempted to develop human performance enhancers. Due to the slow pace of development, the company's board of directors threatened to remove Osborn from his company.

Needing to prove that his formula could succeed, Norman experimented on himself as the first human test. Osborn gained superhuman strength and agility, but went insane in the process, leading him to kill his assistant Stromm and steal an exoskeleton suit and jet-powered glider. After becoming the Green Goblin, he flew to the World Unity Festival and killed Oscorp's board of directors.

After Norman's death, Harry takes over Oscorp and invests large amounts of money in a sustainable fusion energy reactor proposed and invented by Dr. Otto Octavius but the experiment failed.
