History
Origin[]
Otto Blaze was a scientist that sold his soul to Mephisto and was bonded with a Spirit of Vengeance, becoming the Superior Ghost Rider. Though Otto mostly used his powers to enact petty torment instead of heroically using them on a societal scale.[1]
Superior Four[]
Ghost Rider was transported to Earth-616 along two other versions of himself by the Doctor Octopus of said reality, forming the Superior Four.[2] Blaze helped Doc Ock into attacking Mayor Wilson Fisk during his campaign, but he and the other Ottos were stopped by many heroes doing the same thing, leading to a fight that gained Fisk's attention.[3]Notes
- Otto Blaze's backstory, as well as those of the other two members of the Superior Four, are not made entirely clear. Some issues of the Devil's Reign event treat them as having swapped bodies with heroes on their earths, similar to the Superior Spider-Man, while others claim that they have completely different backstories since childhood.
