History
Otto Octavius was a scientist studying an alien symbiote in a secret lab, which was investigated by Eddie Brock. Eddie was caught and all of his electronic equipment was confiscated, making him unable to prove any of his findings, however he managed to get away with the symbiote itself and became Venom. As Venom, later returned to the lab for his equipment and confronted Octavius. He was interrupted by the arrival of Spider-Man, Ghost-Spider and another Spider-Man, which allowed Otto to equip his tentacles and engage all four of his opponents in a battle.[1] He send his army of Octobots after them, but was eventually subdued by Miles Morales with his Venom blast, after which Eddie took Otto's security credential and used to recover his belongings and evidence, while Otto was handed over to the police.[2]
