Magically created alongside his sister by Benjamin Rabin as part of a dark ritual, Owen Watson was the foster son of Mary Jane Watson and Paul Rabin. After MJ and Paul were stranded together on the dead Earth, they found Owen with his sister, Romy, raising the two as their own[2] before relocating to Earth-616.[1]
History
Created by magic by Benjamin Rabin[2] as a component to a long term ceremony for Wayep, Owen and his little sister, Romy, were made as "shackles" for Mary Jane before he would attempt to sacrifice her to attain godhood.[3]

Owen and Romy were found in a shed, and he had night terrors for a year before calming down from Mary Jane's maternal comfort. She would teach him reading and math, while they live a seemingly peaceful life as a patchwork family in the post-apocalypse. After four years, Rabin returned and attempted to kill Mary Jane before Spider-Man arrived to stop the attack, allowing Paul to kill the villain instead. Soon after, the family were relocated to Earth-616[2] where Paul and Mary Jane continued raising Owen and Stephanie.[1]
When demons invaded New York,[4] Mary Jane used her upgraded Jackpot device to protect Owen and the family before they headed to the basement for safety.[5] After the event ended, Owen joined Paul and Romy in hugging Mary Jane following her misadventure with Black Cat.[6] When Rabin returned six months after his perceived death, Paul took the children to safety as Mary Jane sought out Spider-Man[7] but Owen and Stephanie faded from reality by Rabin's distant magic in Paul's arms.[3]See Also
