History
Paula Lake was the head cheerleader at Midtown High and was dating Mark Hunsacker.[1] During a trip to Horizon Labs one of her schoolmates Andy gained superpowers and thanks to them he quickly became a celebrity.[1] Fascinated by this, Paula cheated on Mark with Andy and was kidnapped by the Jackal along with the latter and his parents, only to be freed by Spider-Man.[2] Mark later learned of her betrayal and the two discussed it.[3]
