Paulie Rizzo was a criminal who was hunted out of Kraven, hired by Chicago crimelord, Mr. Denton. Upon capturing him, Kraven scared Paulie to death, but didn't kill him as he didn't deem him worthy of being eliminated by him. For this reason he returned the payment which had already been advanced to Mr. Denton.
