History

The Paw was an agent of Imperial Japan during World War II. By the fall of 1942, he and his minions had constructed the "Mikado's Super-Shell", a massive cannon that launched missiles into the Earth's stratosphere where bombs detonated the warhead, sending a massive explosive crashing down to the Earth, allowing the Japanese to shell the United States from across the Pacific Ocean.[1]

When the Americans sent their spy Betty Ross, the Paw and his minions captured her and kept her prisoner to use as bait upon hearing that the American army was sending Captain America and Bucky to rescue her. The two heroes stormed the Paw's headquarters but were ultimately captured. The Paw then took them and Betty to the super-shell to tie them to the next shell he was going to launch at America. However, Cap, Bucky, and Betty broke free and fought off the Paw. Cap then set the explosives in one of the shells to go off and they fled in an airplane. [1]

The resulting explosion killed the Paw and destroyed the massive cannon.[1]
