Pepe Manero and his brother Diego were owners of the Covado Hotel in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, during the 1940s. In 1943, they were funneling money from their hotel enterprise in order to stage a political coup and take over the country. They were also secretly being funded by Nazi officials.[1]
