History

The man who would become the Crusader was driven by the murder of his parents at the hands of a criminal to seek vengeance on all those who would prey on the weak and innocent. For years, he trained himself in the sciences, criminology, and detection, all the time shaping his body through relentless exercise until he was the ultimate human being. Then, he donned the costume of the Crusader and went out looking for trouble.[1]

Perseus Ablemarle (Earth-238) from Marvel Super-Heroes (UK) Vol 1 388
