History

Peter's civilian identity
On Earth-53931, the world of sentient vehicles, an ordinary Peter Parkedcar maintained a secret heroic identity as the Spectacular Spider-Mobile. While working for J. Jonah Jalopy and taking care of his Aunt-T, Peter fought villains such as Mr. Reo Speedbuggy.[2]

With the Web-Warriors
During the Inheritors Crisis he was found by Miles Morales of Earth-1610 who was on a mission to find reinforcements across the Multiverse.[3] Peter agreed to join him and thus became the only one of his kind who were actually driven as they were meant to be,[2] although Miles found the process off-putting.[4] Jumping across realities together, they recruited many other Spiders into the Web-Warriors and eventually arrived to oppose the Inheritors on Earth-001.[5]

Riding together with Miles once more
During Shathra's reign, Peter was approached by Spider-UK (Zarina Zahari) on his homeworld, causing Peter to panic, as his people only knew humans as mythical creatures. He enthusiastically joined Zarina to save the Spider-Verse once again,[2] however he was captured by Shathra's minions. Unabled to be turned with a wasp sting because he was a car, he was locked away with other captives Shathra was unable to turn, including Spinneret and The Other. Miles was brought in as a prisoner as well,[6] and they were eventually rescued by Hunter-Spider and Night Spider, allowing Miles and Peter to go for a ride together one more time.[4] The two of them drifted across realities, recruiting all of the giant Spider-bots: Leopardon, SP//dr, Mega-Morph and Mech Strike. Miles and Peter brought them as reinforcements to Earth-616, where the combined Spider-Verse defeated Shathra.[7]
Peter Parkedcar later joined Miguel O'Hara's Spider Society based on Earth-928. He was at their HQ when Jessica Drew asked him to take a team consisting of Spidercide, Tarantula, LEGO Spider-Man and Last Stand Spider-Man to the transporter room so they could aid in dealing with the Spot situation. When he returned, Peter Parkedcar participated in the chase of another Miles Morales by the entire Spider Society.[8]Attributes

Trivia
- Due to Spider-Mobile's brief appearance, Amazing Spider-Man (Vol. 3) writer Dan Slott didn't have room to elaborate on elements of its backstory. He intended for Spider-Mobile to come from a universe similar to that of the animated film franchise Cars, a world populated by sentient vehicles. Spider-Mobile would have been able to transform into a normal car, with that car's name (therefore his secret identity) being "Peter Parkedcar."[9] Spider-Mobile's secret identity would later be canonized in Secret Wars: Official Guide to the Marvel Multiverse #1.
