History

Origin[]

Peter Parker (Clone) (Earth-98311) and Carnage (Symbiote) (Earth-98311) from Spider-Man (1994 animated series) Season 5 12 003

Bonding with the Carnage symbiote

Peter Parker's life was very tough, and both his Uncle Ben and Aunt May passed away. Miles Warren successfully cloned Spider-Man. One of the two versions of Spider-Man took on a new identity, changing his features, his name to Ben Reilly, and becoming the Scarlet Spider. When it was brought to light that the other may indeed be the actual clone, Peter hated his double for this, and sought to destroy him. Peter later attacked Ben who was trying to stop the Kingpin from using the portal technology, and the two fought. However, the Carnage symbiote entered that reality through the opened portal and bonded to Peter, creating the creature known as Spider-Carnage.

The Ultimate Threat of the Multiverse[]

Peter Parker (Clone) (Earth-98311) and Carnage (Symbiote) (Earth-98311) from Spider-Man (1994 animated series) Season 5 12 002

Spider-Carnage devastated New York City and intended to destroy all of reality. However, Ben Reilly was chosen, along with various other Spider-Men from different realities, to stop him.

When Spider-Carnage's plan appeared to be foiled, he simply traveled to another dimension in order to finish his plan there. He gained the support of that world's Kingpin by telling him that the device would hypnotize people into obeying them. He pretended to be the Peter Parker of that world to escape suspicion, but he was attacked by one of the Spider-Men. He then kidnapped Gwen Stacy to ensure his escape, threatening everyone present that if one of them were to follow him, he'd kill her.

Redemption and Sacrifice[]

Peter Parker's last moments before his sacrifice and death

Spider-Man then came to the realization that Spider-Carnage was not truly evil, he was simply confused, because in his reality, his Uncle Ben and Aunt May had died. Thus, Spider-Man sought out Uncle Ben of Earth-31198, who was still alive in this reality. Spider-Man and Uncle Ben arrived and Ben reformed Spider-Carnage by reminding him of the Peter Parker inside him. Spider-Carnage prevented the destruction of all reality, but could not successfully remove the Carnage symbiote, ultimately jumping into an unbalanced portal, vaporizing both himself and the symbiote.[2][1]
