History

Spider-Man was overwhelmed by the Black Suit symbiote which completely took him over. The Symbiote made him kill Green Goblin as well as many other people. When the Sinister Six came after him on the Governors Island, their combined attacks made the Symbiote lose control and let Spider-Man go. Unfortunately, he expired shortly after anyway, all life drained from his body.
